- This fee is added to your investment amount

How do I join Partners in Clime?
If you'd like join Partners in Clime and invest in impact startups with us, please book an introduction call here. We're looking forward to meet you.
What stages are we investing in?
We focus on pre-seed or seed opportunities.
Usually, we try to be as early as possible and even like to be first cheque investors.
How many deals do you send?
We aim to send one Investment Memo every 6-10 weeks or 5-8 per year.
We'll only send Memos, when we are really convinced of the deal though. As a result, there will always be some variance in the cadence of new Investment Memos.
How do you measure impact?
We are usually looking for direct impact unit economics (IUE) when evaluating startups in our deal flow.
The IUE ideally represents a singular north star metric that reflects both the startup's economic and ecological progress. When this metric shows positive development, we know the startup is healthy and increasing its impact.
Example: Senera.bio produces cell-based, real milk in bioreactors. One liter of milk produced this way has significant ecological benefits compared to traditional milk production (land use, methane, energy cost, ...). The amount of liters sold also directly correlates with Senera's business success. Our impact unit economic for Senera is therefore liters of milk.
Can I meet the founders?
We always try to schedule a joint video call with the founder team so you can get a firsthand impression. We also share a recording of the call afterward for those Investment Partners, that couldn't attend live.
What reports do I get for my investments?
Partners in Clime always has information rights and will receive regular updates from the Startups.
We will compile these information and send you quarterly reports via Mail for all companies you have invested in.
Can I exit and sell whenever I want?
Investments in startups are illiquid, and exits occur only during liquidity events such as when another company purchases the startup.
What happens to my investments if I leave Partners in Clime?
You will no longer receive Investment Memos and event invites from us. Your investments will stay active, though, and we'll continue to send you regular updates and information about any liquidity events, such as exits.
How are investments structured?
We structure our deals using Aquaty.capital's legal framework:
You'll get Equity Participation Rights for the your individual investment you've made into a Startup.
Partners in Clime Ventures GmbH – a 100% subsidiary of Partners in Clime GmbH – will become shareholder of the startup company and sign all legal contracts.
Is there a minimum, I need to invest?
You must invest at least EUR 10,000 to join a deal.
There is no annual minimum investment requirement for Investment Partners, allowing you the flexibility to select only the deals that interest you.
Is there a maximum ticket, I can invest?
There is no maximum for individual tickets. We might limit tickets though, depending on the overall allocation, deal structure and founder preferences.
Can I invest with a company or holding?
Yes, you can invest as an individual or with a company you own.
You can choose the entity for every investment on Aquaty during the signing process.
